Bruce started his career in House & Mill carpentry, an alumni of Diman Regional Vocational Technical H.S. Bruce's 1969/72 carpentry class was the first to build a complete home for the school. Bruce graduated in 1992 and accomplished 2 years of Architectural Drafting at Diman and 3 years at Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI. Bruce built homes as a carpenter and has been offering home inspections since 1999. Bruce has formal training in home inspection at the Home Inspection Institute of America in Wallingford, Connecticut.
Bruce Wingate is an independent Home Inspector, Veterans Affairs Compliance inspector and a Consumer Advocate, not a franchise.

David Hetzel, founder of the Institute, offered Bruce the opportunity to train inspectors at the time in his home State of Massachusetts. Bruce field trained 6 inspectors which are licensed in Massachusetts, one license in a newly regulating State, New Hampshire. David Hetzel has since happily gone fish'n in Florida.

InterNACHI Certified, (http://www.nachi.org) Bruce offers a full spectrum of presale home inspections and Other services. Within 2-3 days, your report is on it's way by email including photos. Also, a binder with the printed report is an option, delivered by U.S. Priority Mail.

Bruce also offers an On-Site Home Analysis & Consultation Service. He will come to your property site, carefully inspect the property, walk with you around the property, verbally report to you the deficiencies found and advise remides according to importance. Usually, safety issues will be at the forefront of conversation followed by water penetration, structural, infestation, ventilation, insulation, mechanical, environmental and cosmetic issues. This consultation service is offered with a cost savings to home owners or buyers that have not entered into an agreement yet but have access to the property for inspection.
If the buyer has entered into a real estate agreement then there will be a printed report offered according to Massachusetts CMR-266 Standards of Practice, Rules & regulations at regular rates.
